That's Market Towers in the background by the way, the only one of a large cluster of planned skyscrapers in the 1970s to actually get built. It's a perennially underused but not inelegant building IMHO - though could do with a re-cladding, and generally not helped by the fact that a large section of the base is abandoned. It's finally starting to look a bit less isolated (the only other tall building in the area is the abominable BT building).
Big piling machine is still in action dawn till dusk - can't see what it is doing on the photos, but there has been a great deal of piling going on judging by its recent activity.
