JOHANNESBURG - Absa Bank has applied for the liquidation of Realcor Cape, the developer of the Blaauwberg Beach Hotel. Thousands of investors have invested hundreds of millions to fund the development of the hotel, which has stopped just short of completion due to cash-flow problems.
