Türk Telekom Arena in Istanbul

Türk Telekom Arena is the new home ground for Galatasaray S.K., replacing the old Ali Sami Yen Stadium. The stadium have a capacity of 56,147.

The stadium will be the first part of the Ali Sami Yen Complex at Aslantepe, Ýstanbul. The Complex will also include a 15,500 seating multi-purpose sports hall, an Arena Complex (shopping-entertainment-business center)and a cineplex.

The naming rights to the stadium have been sold to Turk Telekom for a period of 10 years. The naming rights for the football stadium were sold for US$10.25 million a year. The stadium will officially replace the current Ali Sami Yen Stadium starting of the 2010-2011 Super Lig second season.

The Turkish Football Federation has announced Türk Telekom Arena as one of the nine candidate stadiums for the EURO 2016 bid, before the selection of France as official host.
