The 103 year old architect Oscar Niemeyer, creator of Brasilia city, received the Prince of Asturias award in 1989. That's the reason Niemeyer donated the project to Avilés city. The Oscar Niemeyer International Cultural Center will be a cultural complex of international importance, attracting knowledge and artistic creations. It's composed by a museum, an auditorium, a viewpoint tower, a polifunctional building and a big square.
