As you can see, in the city west this is the only location where highrises are possible.

I like it though, quite nice. Never knew they would allow highrises so close to the Gedächtniskirche though.

This is the design of the Atlas Tower of the year 1996, this is my personal favorite.

You're right it's far from unique, but from an urban-planning point of view it's necessary to build a tower on that location in my opinion. Maybe a complete glass facade is not the best solution, but a Kolhoff- like tower would be nice on that spot in the City- West.

Don't worry, it's very questionable if the on hold status ever changes into the construction status (grinnik)
