Kastor & Pollux in Frankfurt am Main

Kastor (94m) and Pollux (130m), the two towers in Frankfurt, together form the complex "Forum Frankfurt", but they are two separate buildings. The unequal twin towers were named after the Dioscuri in Greek mythology, Castor and Pollux.

The location of the Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage in the district Gallus, next to the fairgrounds with the landmark exhibition tower, was formerly the headquarters of the German Federal Railways. The old buildings were imploded in 1994. The towers were completed in 1997.
