Concurrent voor 't Empire State building! Gaat wel het mooie uitzicht vanaf het observation deck een beetje verpesten.

15 Penn Plaza in New York City

15 Penn Plaza, also known as the Vornado Tower, is an approved 67-story tower in Midtown Manhattan designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli. The mixed use building will room a 430 unit hotel and office area to about 6 000 workers.

Although just 365 meters tall, it would be just 16 meters shorter than the 79-year-old Empire State Building, the city's tallest skyscraper following the collapse of the World Trade Center. Empire State Building has dominated its portion of Manhattan’s skyline ever since it was constructed back in 1931. The proposed tower is just two avenues west on 34th Street across from Pennsylvania Station. So, it has become the battle of the skyscrapers as the new building claims it will benefit Manhattan by providing jobs and improve the quality of life for New Yorkers and the Empire State Building is worried about losing its iconic presence in the skyline.
