In early April 2010 in Astana hosted the competition on several projects planned for construction in the near future, one of the contests was devoted to developing the concept for the Kazakh Drama Theatre.
Project construction is an important place in Astana. The plot is an integral part of the main component of the Axis of the Millennium. The building will be located in the close proximity to the residence of the President, opposite to the Russian Drama Theatre. Currently the landscape works are being performed on the site in preparation for the construction. In the future, the object will be visible from many vantage points of the city.
