Residential Building in Tulipan st in Budapest

Residential Building in Tulipan st. Budapest, Hungary

In Buda, from a well-known large scale Bimbo street starts a small, winding street, the Tulipán Street. The narrow plot takes in the depths to which people have already made plans, but so far no one realized yet. The newly built condominium was built by the Architectural plans of Ferdinand and Ferdinand. It was not an easy job, not only because of the difficult site conditions, slope and narrowness of the area, but also because the neighboring building is very close to the fence. That's way, because the building has been divided into two mass: a longitudinal, gradually sloping on the top and a cube on the bottom, which are connected by a thin wing. The two blocks turned around a  terrace, which can be an island of tranquility. The building shows the smallest elevation to the Tulipán street, which is a pure white, painted facade and only  divided by the rhythm of windows and strips of wood.It is not a conceited, intrusive house, it is a modest fit into the environment dominated by the between 1890's, and 1930 built  villas.
