Cartier House in Leeds

Cartier House is located on the east side of Clarence Dock and we think it's the most attractive block in the development. Unlike it's neighbouring blocks, Cartier House doesn't have direct water views, so the architects have made an extra effort to make it appealing, and we think it works really well. We love dark copper cladding and the angled steel stilts at the front of the building, and the internal sheltered balconies are a clever touch (especially good for Yorkshire weather!). Most of the 121 apartments have full-height windows, balconies and good-quality fittings. The units on the north side have extra-wide glass-fronted balconies and the penthouses have some of the largest terraces in the city. Over £250million has been spent on re-developing Clarence Dock and it really shows. The whole development is beautifully finished and there's plenty of shops, bars and a late-night grocery store too
