Located on the eastern side of the city centre, The Ice Works is a contemporary development with 79 luxury apartments. Built on the site of a Victorian ice store, it's an attractive block with an elegant curved glass facade, terracotta tiling and cute triangular glass-fronted balconies. Instead of building internal corridors, The Ice Works has open-air steel walkways at the rear of the building, so all apartments face outwards across New York Street.
