The Jellicoe Street area will be divided into three distinct precincts and judging by what we have seen thus far the first phase of the development promises to be a success and will provide the fabulous residents of Auckland with another playground in this fair city of ours.
This is the spine of the development which will connect all the precincts. We like the fact that the precinct will remain a working wharf where you can watch fishermen offload their catch of the day while sipping on our latte. This precinct will retain a robust and gritty atmosphere. Design elements that we like is the retainment of the original industrial feel of the precinct, the colourful "fish crate" public seating and the promenade lights that will rise from the existing railway lines on the wharf.
