Nordea has proposed to tear down Bygarasjen in order to make room for a new borough on Nygårdstangen. The area would have 500 apartments for student housing and between 200 and 300 normal apartments.
It will be an extension of the city centre, and thus the area will include shops, offices and public spaces.
