Cristobal added this project

780 3rd Avenue in New York City

Similar in design and height to Onterie Center in Chicago, completed in the same year.
The structure won the Concrete Industry Board Annual Award in 1983.

The concrete structural frame utilizes an off-center core (on the western side) in addition to the large-scale concrete X-bracing to allow column-free interiors at every level.

The building incorporates, among other business-related facilities, a 154-seat auditorium as part of the largest office building conference center in Midtown Manhattan.

The plaza on Third Avenue is paved in red brick and granite with a row of trees flanking the roadway.
The exterior of the 173.5 meter tall building is patterned with of polished red Balmoral granite panels from Finland alternating with window openings in a diagonal pattern, covering the concrete panels which form the structural truss tube.

Originally started as a development of Cadillac-Fairview, the building was acquired by Jaymont Properties as it was completed.
