Hope this kind of behavior will also happen with sustainable designing. It's better to design the most sustainable building in the world, than the most impressive height in the world. But anyway, looking forward to the new design...

Yes, the current design is 431m and when this design was announced it was the tallest building planned in Chongqing. Shortly after they redesigned the nabour building, ASE Center to be 481m. Then they announced the 468m tall Jialing Fanying Tower. Then last year they presented a 500m+ tower for the new CBD district.
The developer of this project wants this building to be the tallest in Chongqing as they have said, and therefore we expect a taller design of this building before it starts construction, especially since it was put on hold in 2009.

This building is currently on hold as they are planning a redesign, possibly making the building taller.
